Installation skills of low-temperature magnetic centrifugal pump

A low-temperature magnetic centrifugal pump is a pump that converts energy into velocity or kinetic energy and pressure, and pumps the fluid into an electric motor or engine where the energy changes. The impeller and volute are divided into two main parts. The rotational driving energy of the impeller is converted into a portion of kinetic energy. The snail shell converts the kinetic energy of the stationary part into pressure.

The product is in the form of a single-stage, single suction, open impeller. The pump casing and impeller have been carefully designed to reduce resistance and eliminate hygiene blind spots. Due to their special structure, the flow rate of the liquid inside the pump is increased, thereby improving the overall performance of the pump. They are easy to clean and have good hygiene performance. They can meet the requirements of the product for flexible hygiene treatment and have chemical corrosion resistance.

Below are the installation and usage instructions for low-temperature centrifugal pumps:

1. When installing, the position of the pump should be lower than the suction liquid level (if the installation position of the pump is higher than the suction liquid level, a tank pump should be carried out before starting the pump). Before use, check whether the rotation direction of the impeller is correct;

2. Is the nut of the pump inlet and outlet pipe joint tightened; The sealing ring between the pump cover and the pump body is well padded. Steam disinfection should be applied to the parts in contact with materials before use to ensure food hygiene.

3. A butterfly valve should be installed at the outlet of the pump to control the flow rate. Do not operate under overload conditions for a long time to avoid damaging the motor.

4. The pump should be immediately cleaned with CIP after use to prevent material adhesion. If CIP is not available, manual cleaning is required.

5. When cleaning, hot water can be used first, then disassembled, and all parts of the pump that come into contact with the material can be brushed with a brush. Then rinse with clean water and install them in order.

6. If material is found dripping on the ground behind the pump casing during use, it indicates a leakage at the shaft seal. At this point, the mechanical seal device on the shaft can be checked. If it is severely worn or the seal is damaged, it should be replaced or ground before use.

The diameter of the pipeline of the low-temperature magnetic centrifugal pump valve should be consistent with the inlet and outlet diameters of the pump. The inlet pipe should not be too small (when the diameter of the pipeline is smaller than the diameter of the pump, eccentric diameter adjustment should be used to shorten the pipeline as much as possible to avoid air pockets). The outlet pipe diameter should not be too large. When the outlet pipe diameter is larger than the pump outlet, it should be extended as far as possible from the pump outlet to avoid motor overload.
